Welcome
International Students: To welcome international student to
the school, They have in recent time organized workshops and a great deal of
event to make the newly admitted international students familiar with the
community e.g. Employment and health insurance lot of more events. It as an
opportunity to participate in some social programs that will make the incoming
student relate to the returning students.
Graduates of Humber's
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) should be qualified for scholarship program
with a GPA of 80% or higher in Level 8, if they are applying for a Humber
Degree, will be eligible to receive a one-time non-renewable scholarship of
$1,500.
Estimate for a 2
semester period of tuition: Approximately
$27,000 - $30,000.
Gradually subsequent
application for the scholarship makes school fee approximately: $0
The scholarship is
applicable to students who were coming directly from a secondary school who are
not related to transfer students (i.e. Student that have not attended a
university or college)

The Educational
requirements writing below are applicable to the West African countries who are
participating in Waec or Neco Examinations.
Educational Requirements

Please note that due to visa processing times in Nigeria, applications must be
received by Humber a minimum of 4-5 months before the proposed program start
date. *
Admission to a Post secondary Diploma or
Certificate program
- One of the following:
- West African Senior School Certificate/General Certificate of Education 0 Levels or A Levels with a minimum grade of six (C6) in required program subjects
- Senior School Certificate awarded by the National Examinations Council (NECO) with a minimum grade of six (C6) in required program subjects
Admission to a Bachelor's Degree program
- One of the following:
- West African Senior School Certificate/General Certificate of Education A Levels With a minimum grade of two (B2) in required program subjects
- Senior School Certificate awarded by the National Examinations Council (NECO) with a minimum grade of two (B2) in required program subjects
- A complete educational history including transcripts for any postsecondary courses or programs completed
- Applicants for the Bachelor of Nursing program must meet program subject requirements as well as submit one of the following English Proficiency requirements for consideration:
- A minimum TOEFL score of 600 (paper based) or 100 + (internet based with no single test score below 21) or IELTS score with an overall minimum score of 7.0 (with no single test score below 6.5)
Admission to a Graduate Certificate program
- Bachelor’s degree and University transcripts (2nd class or higher).
Please note that the
deadline for the international application for the 2016 academic year is
October 5, 2015.
Port of Entry
Getting to Canada airport there are some
certain criteria that are needed to follow, to avoid embarrassment or
harassment. Present all this following documents.
- Your original letter of acceptance to Humber

A valid passport
- Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) if required
- The letter of introduction given by the Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate
- Document showing financial support
- Citizens or residents of the United States, Greenland, and St. Pierre et Miquelon can apply for their study permit at the port of entry to all of the appropriate documents

Any other documents recommended by the visa office.
Note: When handed your
study permit, check that your personal information as well as the expiry date
are correct.
