Free tuition Fee Studying in Germany
As
it is coming to an end of the year 2015, studying at a state university in
Germany is free of charge. I am very sure same applies to the coming year. For
the past few years ago now tuition fees which proved widely unpopular and were
criticized by some stakeholders. The fees range from 150€ to 750€ per
semester “i.e. A maximum of 1500€ per academic session”, it depends
on the federal, state school it was to be lower than any other countries.
In
Germany it is mandatory for international student to pay administration fees in
the range of 50€ to 150€ per semester, including a compulsory contribution to
the local student union and a ticket for public transport. It was supported
with Studentenwerk after the fees have been paid. Studentenwerk is an
organization providing student housing and other student services e.g
university cafeteria with cheap meals, support for pregnant students or students
with disabilities e.t.c.
Private
Universities varies depend on the owner of the universities their own fee
are usually far more expensive than the government owned universities.
Admission Requirements
Anyone with an international
university degree/higher education qualification is generally permitted to
study in Germany. However, the recognition of the qualification is linked to
certain requirements.
Anyone who is committed to study at
any university in Germany needs a so-called
"Hochschulzugangsberechtigung" (HZB), or higher education entrance qualification.
This lets applicants show that their educational background or professional
qualification allows them to study in Germany, i.e. they have the necessary
higher education entrance qualification to register for a course. An
international higher education entrance qualification lets you study at a
German university, provided that the international certificate of education is
recognized as higher education entrance qualification in Germany.

It is important to make sure that they are aware of the recognition requirements. If the certificate of education is recognized as a higher education entrance qualification in Germany, this recognition may apply for all courses (general qualification) or for certain courses (subject-specific qualification). Two to three semesters of study in the home country may be recognized as a higher education entrance qualification in Germany, depending on the country of origin.

We have two
major challenges for the international students who want to study in Germany.
First the language they are not familiar with should be a barrier. Most of the
international students obtained their high school diploma abroad, they are
required to provide evidence of German language before they are admitted to any
German university. Only degree programs taught in English are being exempted
for more information about the German language
skills. The second challenge is having your high school
diploma accredited by Germany universities.
Offering a German course will be a plus for those who want to be familiar
with their culture and make good friends within them.
Need Help and Advice
All German universities have an administrative department called
Akademisches Auslandsamt. It is their responsibility for them to connect every
International student and exchange students. The Auslandsamt does employ
foreign students to share their first-hand work experiences with newly admitted
student and help them with routine problems. For more information about
housing, leisure activities, and students’ welfare, stay in touch with the
Studentenwerk at any of the universities being admitted.
